A Parent's Guide to Halloween
Love, Hate, Light, & Darkness: The Books of John
Room 403
Fellowship Room
This study will teach parents practical ways for Christians to engage with Halloween through a discussion-based curriculum that dives into the theological themes underlying the holiday. The topics to be explored include a Christian attitude toward death, the mockery of evil, embodied rhythms of life, and the proper role of fear. Practically, your takeaways from this study will be an ability to answer the tough questions concerning Halloween, an appreciation of the origin and meaning of the holiday, and a Biblical-based plan for how to celebrate with one’s children.
Join Steve Hines for a 10-week study based on 1st, 2nd & 3rd John. The apostle John wrote a letter to Christians; he uses the simplest of language to communicate some of the most profound theology in the Scriptures. The book communicates deep truths about God, the devil, and humanity. Plan to join this thought-provoking study.
